Description
An ellipsis is a series of dots that indicates the intentional omission of words from a sentence that does not alter the meaning of the sentence.
This ellipsis is a Côtes du Rhône blend. Only 3 wines define the Chateauneuf-du-Pape style. Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro.
2K15 Ellipsis is the highest rated ever wine in the GISA portfolio of wines, receiving a point score of 95/100 from Mr Halliday. The year was warmer than previous years and this is reflected in the fruit flavours.
The 2K15 Ellipsis is 60% Old Vine McLaren Vale Grenache. The lighter of the three wines, it adds aromas of raspberry, cinnamon spice flavours. The 30% Old Vine Barossa Valley Shiraz adds the darker fruit flavours of blueberry & plum. The 10% Mataro, from McLaren Vale, brings floral aromas and a savoury element.
Spending only 9 months in 100% French Oak, has produced a wine with beautifully structured. A precise wine with drive and finesse in a very approachable style.
